基于多时相无人机影像的40个园林小菊品种花期物候定量分析
Quantitative analysis of flowering phenology of 40 garden chrysanthemum cultivars based on multi-temporal unmanned aerial vehicle imagery

摘要

花期物候是园林植物景观配置与观赏效果维持的重要基础,但传统人工观测难以高效获取多品种、多时段的花期动态信息。本研究基于无人机多时相红-绿-蓝(RGB)影像提取40个园林小菊品种花期时序数据,采用分段三次Hermite插值多项式(PCHIP)法构建园林小菊花期时序曲线,并对各品种开花持续特征及群体花期配置模式进行分析。结果表明:无人机花期识别与人工观测平均误差在2 d以内,可高效替代传统离散人工观测。40个园林小菊品种在花期动态上差异明显,可划分为持久型、速开速败型、缓开型和缓败型4种类型,分别包含28、5、2和5个品种;品种组合则划分为高重叠型、中间型及错峰型3类,分别包含426、209和145对。依据节庆展示、常规绿化以及旅游观光3种场景,分别构建节庆型、常规型、游憩型花期配置模式。

Abstract

Flowering phenology is a fundamental basis for landscape configuration and the maintenance of ornamental effects in garden plants, but traditional manual observation cannot efficiently acquire flowering dynamic information of multiple cultivars and multi-temporal phases. In this study, flowering time-series data of 40 garden chrysanthemum cultivars were extracted based on multi-temporal unmanned aerial vehicle red-green-blue (RGB) images, flowering time-series curves of garden chrysanthemums were constructed by using the piecewise cubic Hermite interpolating polynomial (PCHIP) method, and the flowering duration characteristics of each cultivar and population flowering configuration patterns were analyzed. The results show that the mean errors between the flowering periods identification of unmanned aerial vehicle and manual monitoring are within 2 d, which can efficiently replace the traditional discrete manual monitoring. The 40 garden chrysanthemum cultivars exhibit evident differences in flowering dynamics, and can be classified into four types, namely persistent type, rapid-bloom and rapid-decline type, slow-bloom type, and slow-decline type, containing 28, 5, 2, and 5 cultivars, respectively; cultivar combinations are classified into three types, namely highoverlap type, intermediate type, and staggered type, containing 426, 209, and 145 pairs, respectively. Based on three scenarios of festival display, routine greening, and tourist sightseeing, flowering configuration modes of festival type, routine type, and recreational type are constructed, respectively.
