灌丛化对祁连山冷龙岭北麓高寒草甸草本植物群落的影响
Effects of shrub encroachment on herb communities in alpine meadow on the northern slope of the Lenglongling in the Qilian Mountains of China

摘要

为明确灌丛化对祁连山冷龙岭北麓高寒草甸草本植物群落的影响,在该区选取4种不同灌丛化程度草甸,采用植被群落调查和经典生态位理论,研究灌丛化对草本植物群落物种组成、群落特征、物种多样性及生态位特征的影响。结果表明:灌丛化过程中,草本植物群落高度和盖度均表现为先升高后降低,密度呈先升高后降低再升高的波动变化趋势,地上生物量则不断增加。Shannon-Wiener多样性指数、Simpson多样性指数和Pielou均匀度指数均表现为轻度灌丛化和重度灌丛化样地显著(P<0.05)高于未灌丛化和中度灌丛化样地;Margalef丰富度指数表现为轻度灌丛化样地显著高于未灌丛化和重度灌丛化样地。蕨麻〔Argentina anserina (Linn.) Rydb.〕、高山嵩草(Carex parvula O. Yano)、珠芽蓼〔Bistorta vivipara (Linn.) Gray〕、高山唐松草(Thalictrum alpinum Linn.)、双花堇菜(Viola biflora Linn.)具有较大的重要值和生态位宽度,为优势种。生态位宽度与生态位重叠之间存在一定联系,一般生态位较宽的物种间易产生较高重叠,但生态位较窄的物种之间也可能表现出较高重叠。重度灌丛化样地的物种重要值与Levins生态位宽度具有较高的拟合度和较窄的置信区间,且二者相关性强,说明优势草本植物在重度灌丛化阶段具有较宽的资源利用范围与较强的环境适应能力。高寒草甸草本植物群落整体生态位重叠度低、物种分化明显、种间竞争较弱,但优势种之间生态位重叠度较高,种间竞争激烈。综上所述,祁连山冷龙岭北麓高寒草甸灌丛化促进了草本植物群落地上生物量增加及物种丰富度、多样性和均匀度提高,但优势种更替可能改变草甸的生态稳定性。

Abstract

 To clarify the effects of shrub encroachment on herb communities in alpine meadow on the northern slope of the Lenglongling in the Qilian Mountains of China, four meadows with different shrub encroachment degrees were selected in this area, and the effects of shrub encroachment on the species composition, community characteristics, species diversities, and nich characteristics of herb communities were investigated by using vegetation community survey and classical niche theory. The results show that during the shrub encroachment process, the height and coverage of the herb communities first increase and then decrease, the density shows a fluctuating trend of increase-decrease-increase, and the above-ground biomass increases continuously. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index, Simpson's diversity index, and Pielou's evenness index are significantly (P<0.05) higher in sample plots with light and severe shrub encroachments than in sample plots with non- and moderate shrub encroachments; the Margalef's richness index is significantly higher in sample plots with light shrub encroachment than in sample plots with non- and severe shrub encroachments. Argentina anserina (Linn.) Rydb., Carex parvula O. Yano, Bistorta vivipara (Linn.) Gray, Thalictrum alpinum Linn., and Viola biflora Linn. have relatively high importance values and niche breadths, making them dominant species. There is a certain relationship between niche breadth and niche overlap, species with larger niche breadths are more likely to exhibit higher overlaps in general, but species with smaller niche breadths could also show relatively high overlaps. In sample plots with severe encroachment, species importance values and Levins niche breadths possess relatively high goodness of fit and relatively narrow confidence intervals, with strong correlations, indicating that dominant herbs have a relatively wide range of resource utilization and relatively strong environmental adaptability at severe shrub encroached stage. The herb communities in the alpine meadow generally exhibit low niche overlap, distinct species differentiation, and relatively weak interspecific competition, but niche overlap among dominant species is relatively high, with intense interspecific competition. In conclusion, shrub encroachment in alpine meadows on the northern slope of the Lenglongling in the Qilian Mountains promotes the increase of above-ground biomass and the enhancement of species richness, diversity and evenness in herb communities, but shifts in dominant species may alter the ecological stability of the meadow.
